Let me introduce you to the idea behind Digital Grimsby and myself a little.
I'm Robert Hunter and have lived in Grimsby all my life so far. I've been married since 2005, when i got married in Mexico on the beach.
 
We also have another family member "George" our black labrador who features frequently within the Galleries.
How did i get into Photography, what's my story? Well....
In June 2000 i got into Scuba Diving and discovered there is a lot more out there under the water than you could imagine. Therefore went and bought various underwater film cameras to start my Underwater Photography experience.
I soon realised that i was going to need better equipment to improve the quality of the photos the more i got into the swing of it. I then purchased my first Digital Camera, Underwater Housing and a Strobe. This enabled myself to improve my skills to snap away at the wonders of the sea.
Fortunately i soon realized that i was only diving a few times a year and then spending more time trying to get the shots right than actually enjoying the diving experience itself.
So on my return from diving in Mexico in 2005 i decided it was time to sell all my underwater camera and scuba gear and purchase a dedicated land camera. Since then I've been building up my equipment and knowledge/experience bit by bit, reading books, getting out and about taking shots and now I'm working with a local professional photographer as well Dean Wilkinson.
Because of this I've started to collect a fair selection of shots so i thought i would create a website to display some of them for everyone to see and to comment on.
